The AboutCC Wiki and Commercial Cable Company

This project is intended to provide a more open interface to the CIAL site. It is set up and overseen by me, John Crellin. I started [cial:|the CIAL site] because I wanted to research and find out more about the almost - forgotten undersea telegraph cables that used to land where I used to live in Weston-super-Mare.

The CIAL site has grown greatly since I started it - almost entirely through people associated with the Commercial Cable Company contacting me with information..

I will do most updating with new information on this WIKI now, making sure that anything that enhances the general interest story at the CIAL site is also updated.

So feel free to edit pages when they appear !

And if you want to create a page on a particular subject to do with Commercial Cable and their operations since the late 19th century - then do go ahead - but let me know so that I can make sure [cial:|the CIAL site] links to it.
